Reflections in Photography

One of my favorite photography methods is the use of reflections. Through the use of water, mirrors, windows, or any type or reflective surface you can create unique and interesting photos. What may seem like a simple and boring photo can be magically transformed through the use of reflections.

Next time your venturing out pay attention to the reflective aspects of your surroundings. See what you may be able to capture!! The first photo was from a time I was playing early morning golf, and the sun was rising while I was getting ready to tee-off on the first hole by a lake. And yes I did hook my ball into the water!

The second shot was on a nice sunny day in NYC downtown near World Trade Center. Was passing the new WTC building and was able to leverage the glass exterior of the building to reflect the sky.
